Guildford Vision Group gives its views on the Interim Town Centre Framework and the North Street Development Brief ahead of the adoption of these documents by the Council’s Executive Committee on 6th September 2012.

I ATTENDED LAST NIGHT’S MEETING AND FOUND IT EXTREMELY GOOD – SPECIAL THANKS TO JULIAN LYON.
It was not explained why indecent haste is being applied by GBC in seeking to rush through two seriously flawed “documents”.
Is there a hidden agenda – the elephant in the room?
The town needs to know why August has been chosen, to allay fears of a conspiracy, because we know the precedents for rushing bad news through in the holiday period.
